October 8 summarized the exhibition-competition of architectural projects for the construction of a new museum and exhibition complex "Defense and Siege of Leningrad."

The winner is the project of the Studio 44 architectural bureau.

Recall that four projects reached the final of the competition: the architectural workshop of Mamoshin, Studio 44, the architectural bureau Zemtsov, Kondiayn and partners and the architectural bureau Lahdelma & Mahlamäki (Finland).

The decision was made by the customer - JSC "Center for Exhibition and Museum Projects" in conjunction with the Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture and the Government of St. Petersburg after counting votes and consultations with residents of besieged Leningrad and veteran organizations.
